Dear APA Board member,
How come it’s possible to accuse the American Psychological Association, including you, of being accomplices to murder and child abuse, and yet do so with complete impunity?
It's easy! Since the APA wrote a letter in June of 2018 to the president of the United States stating exactly the same thing.
The letter included empirical evidence which supported all the APA's findings of fact. We can even add the APA's 2014 press release about psychological child abuse and how it is as bad or worse than sexual child abuse.
Most tellingly, the APA's June letter took about 2-3 weeks to be put together. Let's put some perspective here: 2-3 weeks for a letter to the US President on the harm of separating parents and children vs decades from the APA fighting parents on how the separating of parents and children in family court is perfectly fine.
The letter itself shows that this was not because of ignorance concerning the dangers of forced separation of children from parents. Instead, it exposes the hypocrisy about admitting to the knowledge of such psychological harm since the APA itself is party to the very same abusive practices. It exposes how, even in full awareness of the risks of serious psychological harm, as described in its own letter and the DSM-V995.51, the APA’s business model has it involved in the endorsing of forced separation of children from a parent, albeit through the auspices of the family court. Most conspicuously, wishing to downplay this anomaly, the APA has steadfastly declined to address this policy contradiction, failing to issue any press release to explain their stance – a silence that speaks volumes.
I have personally emailed and/or spoken with the current president and past 4 presidents of the APA.

I have been contacted by the APA's attorneys (Lawfirm Arent Fox) and have given them the same information, only to be ignored by the APA. You can read that here: https://www.americanpsychologicalass.com/
The addition of Parental Alienation in the new IDC-11 published by the World Health Organization garnered yet again, no press release from the APA, an organization that is supposed to understand exactly how important the attachment bond is.
On June 6th, 2018, Mary Hardiman of the APA was handed a petition with 16,000 signatures (now 26,000), only for it to be ignored by the APA.
Pillars of psychology who have discovered and published some of the foundations of psychology in attachment theory, family dynamics, and childhood trauma are being rejected by the APA.
The work of prominent psychologists, including Bowlby, Minuchin, Beck, Bessel van der Kolk, and a host of others has been sidelined without warrant.
Yet the APA blindly follows a fraudulent study from Joan Meier a clinical law professor whose fraudulent study intentionally twisted research where she profited from. The study only benefitted her, the APA's narrative, the justice system, and completely ignored factual evidence and at times made up random findings of fact out of thin air. This study intentionally and directly harmed children and parents.
The APA has even taken steps to remove its Google reviews because over 75% of the reviews were calling out the APA as child abusers.
While tens of thousands of people have brought up these facts to the APA, the APA not only ignored psychological child abuse and domestic violence within the family courts but has actively created campaigns to directly cause secondary injuries and increased the chance of suicide to anyone who brought it up or was dealing with this child abuse and domestic violence.
ie: Why would the APA highlight Joan Meier's study and intentionally mislead people about parental alienation?
There is honestly only one answer.
You can not hide your unethical conduct forever and the truth will come out showing how the self-proclaimed: World leader in scientific and professional organization that represents psychologists in the United States: has intentionally deceived the public, its members, and Kills Parents and Abuses Children.
Please see the attachments of approximately 30+ suicides which directly link back to the APA's campaigns to discredit this form of psychological child abuse and severe domestic violence.
Have a Beautiful day.
