Stamped out just like the past four presidents of the APA and me being a bit of a jerk and not having patients.
I really tried starting off my email communication with this new president, hoping and praying that this time the APA president would be different.
A president that actually cared about parents committing suicide, emotional child abuse and domestic violence. A president that was willing to have some kind of empathy for what the APA wrote to president Trump in June of 2018 and was willing to address this travesty within family court..
As you can see from my beginning emails I wanted to give Frank the benefit of the doubt.
But as my emails progressed and Franks refusal to respond continued, my temper began to boil.
You see, I get so frustrated seeing suicide after suicide of targeted parents. In the last month three parents that I know of paid the ultimate price. The unfortunate piece to this puzzle, more than one hundred and fifty times that took their own lives and we will never hear about it. Here are just some of the parents that are no longer with us (https://www.facebook.com/FallenFathers/)
So, while the "most prestigious United States psychological organization" fights to keep abusing children and knowingly encourage parents to die by suicided, I get more and more incensed.
I know why targeted parents take the path to suicide and it is a dark and lonely place. Almost all alienated parents go there, it's hard to watch your children get abused right in front of you, not knowing what to do and in the end, lose your children

Below are my email correspondence's with Frank. You can see they started almost 2 months ago.

I think it is time to to email, call and file complaints against these people who flagrantly trample over the code of  ethics they pretend to follow.

Franks contact information is listed on top. Please don't be belligerent but tell your story. Please share this page because the more we follow up with these people the more likely they will have to acknowledge our children's situations.

And yes, I do realize from the January 10th email to the 15th email I went from zero to sixty and should have handled it more delicately. But I knew Frank read my email and saw the urgency and importance and chose not to respond to that email. It is hard to control my rage when I have so much empathy for our children and parents.

Email to Frank Worrell Ph. D. January 19th 2021.

Dear Frank,

I get it. I came across too strong. Mainly because I am tired and extremely frustrated.
I am really tired of watching good parents committing suicide.
I received this today:

My brother has just commited suicide largely down to parental alienation Could you posrt this https://uk.gofundme.com/f/mick-https://uk.gofundme.com/f/mick-downworth-fund?fbclid=IwAR2rYfEMIHiKigf08bHUfmjMMUBS7hJgKJFiZijRbfWZLoffnWNSwwa9m24wwa9m24

I am tired of watching children develop borderline/narcissistic personality disorder with depression, anxiety, and psychological disorders that manifest with emotional child abuse, many times lasting for life.

I am frustrated because the APA knows all about this and has for decades. How do I know this? That's the easiest part, you see, The APA wrote a letter to President Trump, June 14th, 2018. In that letter, the APA explained everything including suicide. It was described almost perfectly.

I even wrote a letter to Dr. Jessica Daniel mirroring the commonality to the separation of the family unit with-in family court. I Spoke to Dr. Jessica Daniel about 6 times personally. She told me she would respond to my letter ASAP. She lied to me every single time.
Dr. Daniel never responded. Neither did Rosie Phillips Davis or Sandra L. Shullman. Yes, I personally spoke to each one.

So, here we have something I believe pretty major:
Frank Worrell, the new APA president knows with empirical evidence and decades of experience (from the APA's own penmanship) that the combination of emotional child abuse (DSM-5 V995.51) and Domestic Violence defined by the United States Department of Justice many times leads to suicide.

And I totally get it, Here is a guy I never met in my life, that came on way too strong in his emails to me. After all, who is the hell is this person anyway? He doesn't even have any title or initials next to his name.
I am Kenneth Gottfried, a father to 3 wonderful daughters who were 14,15, and 18 when the separation occurred.
It's been 7 years since I have seen or heard from any of them. It is not for a lack of trying. They won't respond to calls, texts, birthday wishes/presents, holidays. Their first car, Graduated HS,  went on first dates, first days of college, graduated college, got their first jobs, and will probably have children without me in their lives. There are so many life experiences that me and my children have missed out on sharing. Zero memories for that time. I have also been blocked on any and all social media and some have changed their numbers and their last name.

This is only part of what happens in a parent's life when their child is abused in this fashion. I would love to say I am alone and the only one that this has happened to.
But you see, there was a study done by Dr. Jennifer Jill Harmon and some colleagues of Colorado State University. The study showed there are over 1 million parents per year this happens to.

So, now you have my story and you have choices.
  • Hate me because I didn't use PH. D. and your full name. (It's an option)
  • Do nothing
  • Get the APA and board members involved and fight me. After all, I am just one person.
  • You can also do the right thing.
  • I am sure there is another option you can put here.

BTW: I feel like Dr. Bennet Omalu when he discovered severe brain damage was related to repeated concussions. chronic traumatic enchepolapthy (CTE). This is a true story about the NFL officials not wanting to confront the issue and do their best to discredit Omalu.
There is only 1 difference, The APA officials know about this, they wrote about this. They are the ones with empirical evidence and decades of experience. And it's the APA that is doing its best to discredit anyone that brings this up, including me.

Thank you for your time Mr Frank Worrell Ph. D.
Have a Beautiful day, and sorry for coming on too strong with my last email.
